And it was a real turning point in her career. She set up a charity, Kino Klassika, to fundraise to preserve and restore classic Russian language cinema from all over the former Soviet Union. She also organizes screenings, publications and exhibitions to raise awareness about the rich visual history of the region. She believes that cinema can be about connecting people through shared cultural experiences. Justine also runs a film company, Asterisk, which focuses on making feature films and documentaries. Currently, she is producing a documentary on the Royal ballet superstar Natalia Osipova, in association with Sky Arts.
