Justine Waddell: A Vibrant Acting Career
Justine Waddell is an actor, director and producer. Star of theatre, television series and films including ‘Great Expectations’, ‘Tess of the D’Urbervilles’ and ‘The Fall’, Justine also appeared in the Russian language film ‘Target’ for which she learnt the Russian language from scratch. After her appearance in ‘Target’ Justine Waddell developed a keen interest in Russian language and Eastern European cinema and went on to form The Kino Klassika Foundation. Kino Klassika spotlights the legacy of Russian language and Eastern European cinema and supports restorations, exhibitions and screenings of iconic Russian films in London and internationally. Major current programmes revolve around Sergei Eisenstein and Sergei Parajanov. The patron of the charity is Ralph Fiennes. Justine Waddell is also the founder of Asterisk Films & Projects which works with leading talent in the film industry, ballet and the arts to produce engaging entertainment for international audiences.
